1.1 LIFE CHANGES - Coping with the Challenges

When I wrote this work, I felt a little bit nostalgic, sad, and proud of myself. My father taught me in the mean, rude way a variety of things. I cannot judge his way of teaching, nor do I mean that, I'm just saying he taught me to not chicken out or give up that easy with things and keep going despite of the unexpected odds, and that is good, I'm certainly a tough cookie.

Describe a time when you had to face a significant change in your life. How did you cope with it?

Back in the time, I remember working for the first time as a gardener. My father took me with him to his occasional second job to teach me how the work is done. I can testify that gardening is not just another work, you have to be strong enough, be in the same position for a long time, be aware to not cutting any plant, so it is not as easy as it might sound.

I previously mentioned the importance to develop strongness in this job, specifically the lower body as legs, feet, abdominals, calves, and even the lower back, for sure that last one hurts very much if it is your first time.

Keep in mind the possible weaknesses, you are going to be in the very shining sun, thus, the sweat and a large, refreshing bottle of water is unavoidable when gardening. I had to adapt to the change, embrace it, and get over it, I had been told that I could do almost anything, so, why not? I said to myself.

My body was not in shape because of the absence of exercise in my life. I know it sounds like a really hard work, but it is very rewarding to know that you developed more and more muscles with the constant pace of the time, my agility when moving improved; overall, I learned how to do something for a living, and that's priceless.

Do you agree with the woman that people should welcome change instead of resisting it? Why or why not?

Absolutely, I mean... most of our daily situations are the ones we don't want to face or struggle with. Whether it is because of the people, teachers, customers, salespersons, payments, and so on... anyways, we have to cope with those persons, why? because we have to adapt to the world and demonstrate that we are better and teach by the example, to help those persons change.

But what if that is not the case? Maybe you are in the wrong place, and that is valid, maybe you are zero comfortable with your situation; you should consider change of job, friends, social circle, or anything you feel that stops you. An important decision like this should be carefully considered so think about it very carefully.

I have been in those situations in which I don't want to be in, in one way or another I have been involved, that's why we all should develop a critical thinking, by so, we are enabled to make the right decision, what's the best one? you must be wondering, the one you consider the best, obviously always keep respect to both you and to third persons when deciding something.
