WhatsApp Audio Assignment - Artificial Intelligence Assessment

Image
When I received this assessment on my WhatsApp audio presentation about giving compliments in English, I’ll admit—my first reaction was to cringe at my mistakes. Seeing phrases like “get your emotions out” marked as incorrect (it should’ve been “keep your emotions in check”) made me realize how much nuance exists in English expressions. But as I read through the feedback, I began appreciating how this evaluation actually highlighted my progress. The 8/10 in Content showed I could structure meaningful material, while the 7.5 in Language proved I’m using complex grammar—even if imperfectly. This assessment didn’t just point out flaws; it gave me a roadmap to turn my B2-level skills into something sharper.   WHATSAPP AUDIO ASSIGNMENT - ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ASSESSMENT Here's my assessment of your presentation at a B2 level: Content (8/10) - Your presentation covers the topic of giving compliments in English, providing some useful tips and examples. - However, some parts feel a bit d...

MEXICO CITY TRIP WITH FRIENDS

Image
I never thought a simple trip to Mexico City for a video game conference would teach me so much about life—and air pollution. When my friends and I planned this getaway, we imagined non-stop gaming, cool merch, and maybe some sightseeing. What we got instead was an adventure filled with unexpected twists: me getting sick from the city’s infamous smog, getting lost in unfamiliar streets, and learning the hard way that not every souvenir is worth buying. But you know what? Despite the chaos—or maybe because of it—this trip became one of my most memorable experiences. It wasn’t the conference itself that stuck with me; it was the unplanned moments in between that truly mattered. A MEXICO CITY TRIP WITH FRIENDS (didn't went as expected) One experience I had to claim was going to Mexico City, because I had to go with all my friends and I to a video game conference. It only happened a month ago. So we went to Mexico City. One thing I took into consideration was the pollution. I was told ...

6.4 GETTING IT WRONG - Speaking task

Image
I remember this assignment as one of the most shocking in all the Target Language V 's odyssey. This was the time we really started producing, you know? The speaking skill was put to the test, and almost all of us... failed. I felt bad for my speech. I hesitated in some parts, and I don't want to talk about the fluency, that was my biggest mistake... A flight to nowhere My dumbest mistake happened last year. My cousin's wedding was in Denver, and my boyfriend and I , who live in Phoenix, decided to make a trip out of it. I planned everything carefully, fly to Las Vegas on Friday, spend the night there, then take a morning flight to Denver on Saturday. The wedding was at 4pm, and we would fly back home on Sunday. It all seemed like a perfect plan. At first, everything went smoothly. We landed in Vegas on time, checked into our hotel, and had an amazing night out. The next morning, we arrived at the airport 2 hours early, grabbed coffee, and waited by the gate. At 10 and a ha...

OUTDOOR VACATIONS - Essay

Image
When I first arrived in Tuxtepec, I thought I'd made a terrible mistake. The heat hit me like a wall and I actually Googled "can humidity suffocate you?" on my phone. But now, looking back, I realize this trip taught me more than just how to survive tropical weather. I noticed something interesting: struggling with a new environment felt exactly like struggling with a new language, you must take a grip, relax, and go on. At first everything is uncomfortable and confusing, but then... I started to understand as I said. The fish vendors shouting prices, my cousins making fun of us (my brother and I), even the sizzle of meat on the grill... these sounds became my daily "listening practice." Without realizing it, I was learning. Wild Vacations in Tuxtepec Oaxaca - Outdoor Vacations (Essay) I must say that adapting to a new environment is, for first instance, uncomfortable, baffling, and shocking, but you have to make an effort in understand how to cope with it. Let ...

ENVIRONMENTAL CITIZENSHIP - Essay

Image
In this one, we students p reviously had a meeting with professors and a sort of manager about this. We were assigned t o research and read about environmental citizenship to understand what it is, and what it involves. Based on that, we prepared a critical explanation each about what we thought, its drawbacks and any proposal in mind and even a friend of mine came back to my mind, it worked for me to give an example as a resolution. Plus, my speech had to last between five or eight minutes. I tried to keep in mind that what I was planning to say will be as important as the way you express it. I couldn't articulate a word well because of the lack of complete confidently . This assignment made me feel a little bit stressed, but when I read it... looks good enough to me. 3.2 THINGS AND EMOTIONS - Presentation

Image
When you do a presentation, you are willing to do it at least well enough, but you want to give a really good impression, something memorable to your spectators. I decided to introduce every example in this presentation with a great, funny, and overall, meaningful phrase; I thought through which phrase could fit in every sentence, for first instance my creativity wasn't in its peak, but it wasn't until I saw a pic of a road and suddenly started humming the lyrics of Country Roads, I recalled them very well and found it very funny, "for sure I make an impression." I said to myself. So, keep in mind that when you see them, try not to laugh, because I couldn't. Lo and behold! THINGS AND EMOTIONS - Non-Restrictive Relative Clauses (Presentation) I really enjoyed the process of thinking carefully how to make the jokes in this presentation, actually, I got a great idea, as a future teacher I want to assign something similar to the students, the goal will be: "Mak...
